Now is a good time to prune your roses. You can safely cut them by 1/2 of their existing height. Be careful because some rose species bloom on old growth, so pruning may reduce some blooms. It is always best to know what type of roses you have before pruning. In Wilmington’s real estate market it is important to have your home looking the best so that it stands out from the rest of the homes on the market. Staging is an excellent way to get it ready and give it the “model home effect”. I enjoy working with Wilmington resident, Pat McCartan who is the owner of Exiting-Staged Right & Organized Right. Exiting-Staged Right is a staging company that provides home staging and organizing services to help you move into or out of your home. Pat McCartan, Accredited Staging Professional, will help you turn your home into a product ready for the market by showing you how to de-clutter, refresh, and rearrange to enhance your home’s features and set it above the competition in today’s buyer’s market. The investment in staging is always less than a price reduction, and will reap you benefits in terms of added equity and less time on the market. If you are moving in or still settling in, Organized Right services will help you organize every room in your home, finding a place for everything and creating systems to keep things orderly, freeing you to pursue what you would rather be doing. You can visit www.exiting-stagedright.com or call Pat at 910-620-2219 for more information. She will work within your budget to create staging and organizing solutions so that you can move on with your life plans.
